edition 2018

In 2018, the celebration of the Polish Foundrymens’ Day was accompanied by the International Conference on “Foundry Industry – new solutions and future prospects“. The idea of the conference was to present a modern approach to managing the production plant and the use of the latest techniques, machinery and equipment as well as materials in casting production. The conference aim was to introduce the new concept of Industry 4.0. that is functioning in the modern world. Around 250 people from Poland and abroad took part in the conference.

During the conference 8 papers were presented, including 4 from abroad. Companies such as Zanadri Foundry from Italy, Huttenes-Albertus from Germany, Krakodlew and Shim-Pol from Poland and representatives of scientific centers from Germany, Spain and Poland presented their latest solutions.
